VPN Troubleshooting and Quick Checks
VPN quick checks, assumes the FortiClient VPN app is installed.

Check that the computer can connect to the Internet.
- Turn the computer's WiFi off and then back on or disconnect and reconnect the computer's network cable.
A computer having taskbar icon or unable to open the following webpages may be fixed with a computer reboot.
https://www.google.com/
https://www.microsoft365.com/
If the computer is still unable to connect, rebooting the WiFi/router/modem equipment may resolve the issue.
- Can other devices reach the Internet? ( can a TV reach streaming service...?)
If after checking the above no devices can connect to the Internet a suggestion is check with the ISP.
- Can the computer open the following Bridgeway webpages
https://vpn.bridgeway.io:10443/
https://availablefreight.bridgeway.io/
- If the computer can open the above webpages please check the FortiClient VPN settings.
- Right click the taskbar icon and select Open FortiClient Console
- Select 1 “Remote Access”, 2 VPN Name “Bridgeway”, 3 three bar menu, 4 View...
- Check and change the four circled settings to match the below image
