How To Change Your Password (Bridgeway Employee Account)
Password Guidelines
See Password Policy & Guidelines for requirements and guidelines when selecting a new password.
Method 1: Local Machine (VPN or On-Site Required)
Note: To avoid password mismatch situations that can occur using this method, you must be connected to the VPN or be in office before you attempt this method
While logged into your Bridgeway workstation or laptop, press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys at the same time, then select the “Change a password” option from the next screen.
On the next screen, enter your current password and the new password twice. Refer to the “Password Guidelines” section above for password requirements.
IMPORTANT: After resetting your password, press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys again and select the “Lock” option. This will lock the computer and require you to log in with the new password. This ensures that all applications and connections see the updated password.

Method 2: Online
Go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/ in a web browser.
From Here you will perform the following steps:
- Enter your Bridgeway email address.
- Fill in the Captcha.
- Click the next button.
Next, select the best option to authenticate your account depending on how you set up your MFA. Most likely this will be either “Text my mobile phone” or “Enter a code from my authenticator app.”
Note: If you have two MFA methods set up (text and mobile app for example) you may need to complete this step twice.
Lastly, once you complete the verification steps successfully, you will be prompted to enter your new password. Refer to the “Password Guidelines” section above for password requirements.
IMPORTANT: If you are not located in one of the office sites, you will need to connect to the VPN for this password to sync with your computer.
